This Friday we´re playing at Pustervik here in Göteborg together with Babian. The Movements will be on stage around 23:00, so be there in time!
Next Friday we play at Trädgårn in Borås together with Dee Rangers.
There´s also a new gig booked in København in July, together with our Norweigan friends Brutus.

We are home after touring in Spain and France. Great times, great people, great partys! Huge thanks to everyone involved!

This weekend we are flying to Berlin doing two gigs, one at Cortina Bob and one at Bassy Club.

Inactivity on the web hasn´t meant inactivity in real life for The Movements. We´ve been on tour in Germany along with our friends La Fleur Fatale. We´ve also been recording a... hrrrm... rather wierd version of Pink Floyds´ old hit "Vegetable man", due to participate in the "Vegetable man-project volume 6". Containing various artists, all doing their own covers of... yeah, you´ve guessed it, Vegetable Man! Listen to it here!

December 12:th we´re playing here in Göteborg together with Brutus. Come to Truckstop Alaska and dance the night away!
Early next year we´re gonna start with some serious recording of new material, then we´ll leave for warmer places...

September 1:st 2009

Last Friday, August 28:th, Christer Fuglesang finally took off to space again with Discovery STS-128. The Movements are very happy about the successful takeoff, and wish Christer Fuglesang and rest of the crew best of luck on the journey!

Swedish National Space Board (www.snsb.se) has confirmed that Fuglesang has brought The Movements´ music with him on the space shuttle - making us the first band in the space rock genre being actually played in space!

August 19:th 2009

This weekend we´re playing in Kassel, Freiburg and St Leonard.

September 10:th we´re playing at Henriksberg here in Göteborg, supporting Pierced Arrows.
The following day, September 11:th, we´re throwing a release party for our space theme album For sardines space is no problem at GFF-gården/Majvallen, also in Göteborg. Expect spacerock boonanza and cheap beer!
